Debate on Gun Control Gun control is such a hot debate in the United States of America especially in the wake of so many recent, tragic mass shootings. In this nation nearly half of all US households own at least one gun, and about 31,537 people die from a gunshot each year. There should be some gun control in the United States of America; due to the number of murders of young teenagers and those who are harmless. Someone on an opposing side would say that they disagree, because many people are harmed and cannot defend themselves against someone who is dangerous. Well based on this incident that was not the case. One that recently occurred where a woman was shot in the head for cutting a man off on the road; There s also another story about the man who was shot in a movie theater for texting his babysitter; neither of those tragic shootings show that the person who was shot was being harmful in any way. So now we have come to the question of, â€Å"Is gun control right for the Unit ed States of America? A story in St.Pete Times tells how, On March 20, 2015 a woman was on her way to work, when she ran into some sort of issue with another driver on the road. She beeped her horn at him, and then the driver started taunting her. He eventually pulled up next to her vehicle, then fired one gunshot through her front passenger window. The bullet hit the woman in the back of the head.
